1. HONLA - QUANG BINH INDUSTRIAL SEAPORT ZONE

Groundbreaking ceremony of Hon La Seaport Industry Zone

Quang Binh lies on the 1A national highway along the North and the South; HonLa industrial seaport is constructed in Quang Dong Town, Quang Trach district far from the center of Dong Hoi City about 50km, ChaLo (Vietnam - Laos border area) – international gate 160km and the Northern East provinces of Thailand about 300km.

The East of the Industrial Zone is HonLa bay, where many sea going vessels have being parked as having storm many years. Vietnam government allows to construct seaport in the first stage for the sea going vessels about 10 thousand tons to park, and Honla become one of the national seaport areas. Strategists estimate that HonLa seaport is East pole of the East-West economic corridor along 12A national highway; it will be an important gate in economy not only in domestic but also with other countries in ASEAN location.

HonLa is ratified with summarized unit is 300 ha in which the Industrial zone is about 97,58 ha, the rest is a zone for constructing societal infrastructure outside the industrial zone. It will be invested to construct many factories of manufacturing agriculture products, aquatic products, forest products, mechanical products, tools, and material for constructing; constructing and repairing ship. Moreover, having a zone for services, stores for all activities of the Industrial Seaport.

In order to ensure the favorable conditions and make new good opportunities for the investors in Honla Industrial Zone, Quang Binh province has been constructing many important projects: Upgrading the national highway 12A to Lao – this is the one that lies in the ASEAN road system. Upgrading Dong Hoi airport station, constructing Phong Nha- Ke Bang, Cung Chua- Dao Yen, Bao Ninh touring areas.

2. NORTH - WEST INDUSTRAL ZONE OF DONG HOI CITY  

     Dong hoi north- west in dustrial zone is approved to establish by provincial committce in decision no . 10/2005/QD - UB date march 4th 2005 with the area 80.25 hectares belonging to Bacly ward and loc ninh village - Dong hoi city with total area of 150 hectares, in the first period of 80,25 hectares.

The industral zone has advantage posotion in the traffic, at 4km distance from dong hoi city, 2,5km distance from the airport, 2km distance from 1A national way, 1-5 km from Hochiminh road, 60km from Honla port in the East-North, 1km from Donghoi railway station in the east.

   Up to now, there are 14 enterpries who inverted and registored to invest to the industrial zone in the exported- xood procersing, electric industry and construction material fields gas, exported sewing, industrial gas…
